On the expansive grounds of Quinta Algarve, you'll find an impressive 80-square-meter sound dome, a sound yurt, a covered yoga shala, a natural eco-pool , and numerous hidden spots to linger and dream. Every corner of this enchanting place invites you to relax more deeply, let go, and experience the harmonious connection between nature and sound.
The region around Monchique fascinates with its diverse flora: ancient olive trees, majestic eucalyptus trees, beguilingly fragrant jasmine, artfully shaped succulents, bright oleander bushes, magnificent bougainvilleas, aromatic lavender and extensive vineyards characterize this idyllic landscape .

Quinta Algarve is a 17th-century country house located at an altitude of almost 450 meters on the edge of the Northern Algarve in Portugal. Surrounded by untouched nature, ancient trees, and lush, colorful meadows.
Own sound dome, yoga space and sound yurt
The extensive grounds of Quinta Algarve include an 80 sq m sound dome, a covered yoga shala, a sound yurt and a well-maintained eco-pool, which can be used free of charge by all guests.
Fresh, vegetarian and natural food
We cook exclusively with fresh, healthy, and predominantly local ingredients—and mostly vegetarian. Daily meals for our guests are, of course, included in the price.

The sleepy and charming village of Monchique is just a few minutes' walk away, and the Algarve's paradisiacal beaches are less than a 30-minute drive away.
The beautiful Quinta Algarve
Quinta Algarve is a castle-like, lovingly restored country house from the 17th century – a place full of soul and charm that invites you to arrive and take a deep breath.
A green oasis full of colors, scents, and hidden retreats unfolds on a spacious, almost 10,000 square meter property . At approximately 450 meters above sea level, the climate remains pleasant: it's not too hot in summer, not too cool in winter—perfect for balancing body and mind.
Particularly unique is the Sound Dome, an approximately 80-square-meter domed structure that we will use intensively for our sound work during the training. This sacred space is complemented by a covered yoga shala and a cozy sound yurt, which are also available for meditative and sound therapy sessions.
Another highlight of Quinta Algarve is the natural freshwater eco-pool, which invites you to take a refreshing dip – a swim in pure, invigorating water, surrounded by the power of nature.
Rooms and facilities
The charming main house of Quinta Algarve houses five lovingly designed double and triple rooms, each with its own bathroom.
Directly adjacent is the annex with three cozy maisonette rooms , which offer space for 2-3 people and create a special atmosphere with their open design.
For even more privacy, two detached apartment cottages with pool views are available on the spacious grounds. Each apartment is equipped with a private bathroom, a kitchenette, and an inviting terrace, and can comfortably accommodate up to four people.
The decor is simple, stylish, and authentic —a place where you immediately feel at home. Whether you choose a single, double, or triple room—at Quinta Algarve, everyone will find their perfect retreat.
Sounddome, sound yurt & yogashala
A special highlight is the Sounddome – an impressive 80 sqm sound space, equipped with a powerful PA sound system, a variety of sound and natural instruments and an air-conditioned feel-good atmosphere for every season.
In addition to the Sounddome, there is the covered Yogashala (60 sqm) , which offers space for exercise, meditation and relaxation, as well as the Plant Dome (115 sqm) , which inspires with its natural beauty and invites you to linger.
Another special experience is the Sound Yurt – a magical retreat for deep sound journeys and healing vibrations, surrounded by the silence and power of nature.
